Concorde at Manchester Airport
Congratulations to Manchester Airport, named Best European Airport at the sixth Annual ACI Europe Best Airport Awards in Milan on June 18th. Manchester won in the 10-25 million passenger category.
The judges were particularly impressed with the airport's approach to security.
World Class Service continues to work with Manchester Airport Group and would like to extend our congratulations to all the team there who strive for excellence every day. Something which was recognised by the judges who commented that,
“Ultimately, it is the airport's ‘passion for excellence in all that they do' that singled Manchester Airport out as the winner in this category."
It is worth remembering that £938m of the North West's income is dependent on Manchester Airport.
In the 1-5 million passenger category, Malta International Airport was named best airport, Lyon Airport in the 5-10 million passenger category and in the over 25 million passengers category the winner was Barcelona Airpor.
