The BBC tonight show the first part of an 8 part series with Michel Roux called simply "Service". Michel Roux, quite rightly, says that service is as important as food. He goes onto say that service in the UK is lacking and blames it on a hangover from the class system.
Mary Portas has a new series starting next week called "Secret Shopper", going into large stores undercover and revealing the poor customer service.
