British Gas...and why customer service is vital

British Gas has been fined £2.5m for failing to adequately deal with customer complaints. Ofgem has ruled that British Gas had failed to re-open complaints when customers said they had not been resolved.

British Gas had also failed to provide customers with key details about help they could get from the energy ombudsman.

Nobody's perfect and mistakes are made so handling customer complaints is essential and, if you know what you are doing, can bring greater customer loyalty and good will towards you and your company...and help you avoid millions of pounds worth of fines.
